PS4 will be playable at GameStop Expo 2013

I'm really not sure if fans have had the chance to play the PS4 at E3 or any other convention, but I don't remember it being played. Anyways, good news since both the PS4 and the Xbox One will be playable at the GameStop Expo. They are offering a variety of games and maybe even exclusives to be played on the consoles. I guess it's a great way to determine which console runs smoother and faster.

GameStop Expo 2013 attendees will have the opportunity to go hands-on with the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and a wide variety of games, according to a recent press release.

Interesting that they are deciding to show it off side by side with the Xbox one. As far as I'm aware this will be a press only event , not open to the public, but still it seems like a rather risky move having both of the consoles being shown off here at the same time. I'm hoping that we get some side by side comparisons of the two, they should be quite interesting and might yet persuade some people to switch sides.

It is no big secret that both companies are in fierce competition to outdo one another. Whenever one company will do something that may seem even remotely beneficial for their launch, you can be certain the other will ride of their coattails in an arms race to capture the most profit possible. This is a brilliant way to really get their capabilities out there to the public, and it is likely that those attending the expo is the best audience possible for them to appeal to. It makes sense why they would have their playable versions out and ready there.

There has been a lot of uncertainty surrounding who really is better than whom, so what better way to personally get a taste and make a decision than trying them both side by side? Good news to me!

Yeah that is great news that the system will be playable at the expo, as I'm sure many gamers are so eager to get the chance to play games before they are officially released. I wish I could make it there but unfortunately I won't be able to. Nonetheless, I'm eager to see what kind of news surfaces at the expo as I'm sure that some exclusive information will be revealed there.

I'd love to be able to go and play it for myself. At this point, after months of hype, I'm very much ready to get the suspense over with already. Unfortunately, I'll probably have to wait a while more since I'm going to wait a few months before I purchase one for myself after the release. Hopefully one of my friends would get one earlier so I won't have to wait that long.
