PS4 Wont pass blue screen.

Hello all, I'm new to the forum so go easy if this has been asked already.

I tried searching but didnt come up with a question or answer to mine that solves my issue.

Basically, I have a ps4 that starts up until it reaches screen(where everything initially seems normal), I am left stuck on a screen displaying the message:

'Connect the DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller using the USB cable, then press the PS button'

Nothing happens using either USB port. My controller flashes white for about 10 seconds, then continues to dim and light up in yellow.

Controller is not the problem. it works on another ps4 and i tried resetting it.

I updated using a flash drive, i tried restore mode options etc...still no luck.

Any fixes for this or is anyone experiencing this issue??

Thanks for the replies.

Jay.

Turn off the PlayStation 4.

Locate the small reset button on the back of the DualShock 4 near the L2 shoulder button.

Use a small, unfolded paper-clip or something similar to push the button (the button is inside a tiny hole). Hold the button down for a couple of seconds and release.

After resetting the controller, re-pair the controller with the PS4 by connecting the USB cable to the controller and the system, and turn the PS4 on.

Press the PS button to log in to the PS4.

Thanks Max_Headroom...I tried that too but no luck....its as though the PS4 wont recognize the DS4 controller. Any other suggestions friends?
