Ps5 controller issue

My ps5 controller wont turn on. When i plug it in to a wall outlet to charge, it glows orange once and then goes blank. When i plug it into the front or back of the ps5, it does the same thing. I tried hard reseting it by pushing in the button on the back for 5 to 10 seconds while plugged in but that does nothing either. Has anyone encountered this issue?

Sething you might try is to set the controller settings to read usb first and then physically connect the controller to the playstation with a usb cable
It sounds like your controller has a full battery but just can't seem to pair with the playstation, and while its not ideal to have to be bound to the machine whenever you want to use that controller it may beat buying a whole new one, however..
To change those settings in the playstation you would need a second controller not affected by this
And I'm no expert in this, its just a thing i remember happened to me before back on ps4
Still something you might at least try
