PS5 digital value for money?

I got the digital version and downloaded some games. Some I liked and played and some I didn’t like. Top games are very expensive, around $100 or more. As a consumer it feels like going to a casino, you might win or lose, not knowing if you will enjoy the game. If I had bought the disc version of PS5 I would have been able to get used games to a fraction of the price. It feels like I’m in an airport and the only way to get food is to get something that is well overpriced. Anyone else feels the PS5 digital is a bad buy?

I got the PS5 digital version and I prefer it. There are sales often on downloadable games many I have gotten for $10 or less. Even some of the top newer games have been on sale for 50% or more off at times - so I keep a watchlist of games I'm interested in and check if any of them are on sale every couple weeks or so.

Games for $10 can not be that great? Quality games will cost at least $50 or more in my opinion.

I bought a lot of good games on sale under $10 like God of War, Uncharted bundle, Jedi Fallen Order, etc. Just have to wait for a good sale. Newer games like Spiderman I got on sale for $20-$30. I just got the new Horizon Forbidden West on sale for $39.99
