New Member
HELLO PEOPLE I AM GONNA PASTE THE SECOND CONVERSATION THAT I HAD WITH A SONY AGENT
NOTE* FIRST CONVERSATION WAS THE SAME THING , JUST BY PHONE

Wendy: Hello, My name is Wendy how may I assist you today?
Usted: hi
Usted: my name is balo
Usted: i ma having a problem trying to refund my walllet
Usted: refunding
Usted: i live in el paso texas and chihuahua mexico also
Usted: i 've been buying psn cards and plus memberships from walmart on either sides
Usted: i just boug a $50 dollar psn network card
Usted: and couldn use it ,
Wendy: I'd be happy to look into this for you today Balo.
Wendy: Do you receive an error message?
Usted: it says it has an error
Usted: number
Wendy: Please provide me with the error code.
Usted: E-82000134
Wendy: Would you please verify your Online and Sign-In ID for me?
Usted: i called the support number ont he back of the card
Wendy: Also, provide me with the voucher code.
Usted: and they attended me
Usted: the voucher code is 3997*****
Usted: so they are telling me they cand do nothing about but writing a complain
Usted: they also gave me a folio number 03149711
Usted: i read the back of my psn network card and it says , it can be activated in mexico , but doesnt say nothing about using it whit my psn us account
Usted: i ma kind of mad, cause i just spent 50 bucks worth of nothing
Usted: the only solution they gave me was, go to walmart an try to get a refund with your already scratched card
Usted: that information is not on any part of the the cards, the mexican playstation sony's agent william and the supervisor called Josue told me is only in your web page, he also said we are sorry
Usted: and they advise me also to talk to you directly
Wendy: I see. Please provide me with your Online and Sing-In ID.
Usted: **************
Usted: *******
Usted: name **** ********
Usted: online id is *******
Wendy: The problem is that your account is from US and the PSN Card is for Mexican account. I understand your concern, however you cannot use a PSN Card which currency doesn't match with the currency needed in the account Balo.
Usted: but this exact card says in front
Usted: this card worths 50 usd dollars
Usted: able to use it in psn
Usted: and doesnt say nothing about not beeing able to use it in a us psn account, anywhere printed on the card
Wendy: The currency is not USD, I checked the card and it is a PSN Card for Mexican accounts.
Usted: actually it says
Usted: i cand send u a photo
Usted: it says $50usd
Usted: give an email , and i;ll send the photo for u
Usted: i also bought another year for a playstation plus membership this morning and worked just fine
Wendy: Yes, it is for the equivalent of $50. I am able to see that it is a PSN Card for Mexican accounts. This is the specification of your card: Mexico PlayStation (MXN 715.00) $50.
Usted: mine doesnt have that leyend that says $715 mxn, but
Usted: that doesnt matter,
Usted: what matters is, what can i do?
Usted: why this product doesnt warns u?
Usted: or work either as other already did this morning?
Usted: or why you are not beeing able to make it work, or just give a fix solution, because the way iam seeing it , it concerns you (sony and playstation), and me as your consumer
Wendy: I appreciate your feedback about this, but it may be due to the place where you purchased it. If you purchased it in Mexico or really near to Mexico, then most likely it will be a Mexican PSN Card. I truly understand your concern, however in this case you may need to go to the retailer and request a PSN Card for US accounts. I'd appreciate your understanding about this Balo.
Usted: the bad news is that before i talked to you i talked to walmart, and they dont have it, they use to had; i called just the moment i entered the code
Usted: really, really wendy, theres nothing sony can do about it, i am not mad about the 50 bucks
Usted: i am mad cause i can do do nothing about it, for something that isn't clarified in a product
Usted: sorry for my spelling
Usted: my card says also made in usa, supplied by fastcard
Wendy: I'm really sorry Balo and I understand you concern. If I were you, I would feel the same. In this case, if you have a friend that has a PSN Account from Mexico, you can sell the card, that would be a way to recover the money so you can purchase a new PSN Card.
Usted: ,ok ok, i understand you can't help me
Usted: at least make a report or a case, this is an issue, is a problem for us ,for travellers because of a not well designed or advertised product from sony
Usted: can i use this information to blog and talk about this in your ps blog, an others blogs also
Usted: ???
Wendy: You can provide us with your feedback by sending a letter to:
SCEA
ATTN: ***Consumer Affairs***
PO BOX 5888
SAN MATEO, CA 94402-0888
(make to put the full zip code down as listed above)
Usted: perhaps if some people complain about this problem , one day playstation will do what they say they are doing, hearing the consumer :smileywink:
Wendy: We appreciate your feedback Balo.
Wendy: Do you have more questions?
Usted: does consumer affairs have an email also?
Usted: just that one,i guess that'll be all, thank you wendy!

Hi Haze, i did copy pasted it , to put it in both forums so more people get to read it, about your question ... what iam looking for? the answer is mainly 3 things ,

1. WARN users to not make same mistake i did,
2. make companies to make bigger efforts and conscience by solving their users problems
3. don't know how much everybody's times worth, but i earn about 12 bucks an hour, that means i spent about 4 to 5 hours of my time to buy it , plus phone time and stress and this card doesn't say it wont work on a us account!!

The 2 answers i received from they where
1. we are sorry there's nothing we can do / go to Walmart and see if you can solve it
2.try to sell it to someone there , so you can get your money back lol!!

Note * i think that now game networks became global, they got to understand people needs, and i'm pretty sure my case isn't the first one, and won't be the last one, morality is involved, also, if a company who can't serve their customers needs anywhere; cause there will be always different scenarios, while making money out of it by having a global service, shoudn't be able to refuse or deny to solve a simple problem. don't you think!
P.D i am still posting it in other forums too ;) the more the merrier..

Seems like the simplest thing would be to create a Mexican account. Buy what you want from the Mexican store and play it under your American account.
