Hi guys just joined this forum to try & find out if anyone can help with the problem we have with our talk talk internet, ps3 & ps4 will not wirelessly connect to it :(
Took both To my m8s virgin network both work fine, so obviously its the talk talk :(
Any solutions or fixes for this ?
Thanks in advance folks

Rob

Thx for reply
Modem is down stairs PS up I have even tried homeplugs & that failed, but on the virgin bb wrks fine,
Anoying

Yes iPad mini & my phone work fine with router, and yes ps3 & ps4 find it wen scan but fail on the test :(

Sounds like it could be a problem with the router? Any chance you can pick up a wireless router from somewhere like Maplins/Argos?

If it doesn't work, you're entitled to refund it within 7 days of purchase.. so you won't lose any money :o

I have just ordered a wireless booster, not sure if it will do it though
Someone said to me I can use the booster to hardwire it,
See how that goes,
Thx guys.

Same here m8 only 1 DNS
Still not connecting even home plugs & WiFi booster just not happening,
Says IP succeeded
Internet succeeded
Psn failed
So confusing :(

Is this a new brand new system or did you pick it up used?

Also just out of curiosity can you check and see if you can do a system update?

Is your PS4 connecting to PSN?

I just found out talk talk routers can have a gaming block feature on them. Have you opened up your router and checked that it is set correctly? 192.168.0.1 should get you into your router just in case you didn't know how

I Bought it used m8, it connects to virgin with no problems, I dne a update on the virgin, it wouldnt do on talk talk
No won't sign in to psn
Error

I opened router up yesterday, not sure how to set it correctly, I just changed & tried few different channels.

Unplugged your modem, voip box and router(If you have) for a minute. How ever it comes in plug the first in the line in first. Meaning more then likely your modem. Plug it back in and wait until the lights stop flashing and move on to the next piece of equipment and repeat. Then once everything is hooked up cross your fingers, say a prayer and turn on your PS3. I have never been around a talk talk router so I have no idea how to help you with set up and all the videos on youtube are not precise enough for me to try and walk you through it. I will keep looking to see if I can find any more but I am running out of ideas.
