PSN+ free 7 day trial inside of game, or the lack there of.

So I was at my parents house for xmas, and decided to try BF4 online. I was unaware that you are now obligated to have a psn+ account to access online servers. No big deal, I figured I would use my free 7 day pass since I just spent $60 on the game it came with. I entered the code in, and everything was good to go. Fast forward to today, I go to sign into my free seven days of online play, and it says I need a to subscribe to psn+. WTF?? Anyone else having the same issue?

I have BF4 on PS4/it didnt come with any 7 day code...
EA has done away with online passes so you only need PS+ to play pretty much anything online,surely you knew that since the PS4 was announced?

The code was on the inside of the game? Not sure why I got it, and you didn't. Paying for it doesn't bother me, it was bound to happen sooner or later. What I was confused about was the fact that I should still have a few days left, and it gave me the error. Just curious if anyone else had the same issue?

Also I haven't been following the PS4, I only purchased one because I have a lot of downtime with my job, and it is a good way to keep from wasting money at the casino/bar.

Strange,I havent a clue what that 7 day code is for then.
Was it supposed to be a 7 day trial of PS+ then I imagine? And did work when you first inputted it?
Have you ever had PS+ before? If so it wouldnt have worked as any of those 7 day,14 day trials etc (like you are offered when you turn on PS4) are only for first time PS+ subscribers.

Yea it was a 7 day free trial, and it worked right after I entered the code. It's not working now though, and I was wondering why it quit without the full 7 days.

I've been a PS+ member ever since I got my PS3 back in October, I downloaded Resogun with no problem and a few minutes later told me I needed to join PS+ when I attempted to download Contrast. But about an hour later it let me download that game. Who knows what is going on? Even though I am a member they have "JOIN PS+" ads all over the Playstation Store for me.

Ah,thats obviously some sort of issue then,Im sure when those things happen you need to contact Sony,Ive heard of a few people that had that issue.

Yea, I have no clue what the issue was. I really didn't look into it, I just went ahead and purchased a subscription. I was just curious if anyone else was having the same problem. It's kind of irritating spending close to $600 on a system, and the bugs are no where near worked out.
