In the U.K we pay roughly £40 per year subscription, it works out at 11 pence a day, they owe me 44 pence (for those not familiar with our currency there are 100 pence in £1 - AAA games here cost approximately £50), do you really think they are going to give me anything?

Seriously. Getting tired of people whining and moaning about the network outage and demanding free stuff. Just like society today. Someone is inconvenienced and start demanding free s***. Get over it and yourself and move on with your life. It's back on; get back to gaming. Sony don't owe you jack. I pay 50 USD a year. Just did the math. That would be 14 cents a day (rounded up). I'm out 42 cents. Whoopdie do. Nothing today is worth 42 cents.

I posted this in another thread, but this seems like a better place.
I couldn't connect at all to the PSN, even after trying resetting all network devices and the PS4. Then I came across a website that said to change the MTU setting (under network connection) to 1473 from 1500. I don't know how this worked, but it did. I'm on now. I tried to change it back to 1500 and get back on, but could not connect with it set to 1500. Changed back to 1473...I'm on again. Weird

I don't even know what MTU is! My PSN is now working perfectly. But I think Sony will give us something free. Everybody pays for it, so it's fare!

I'll admit I was getting really pi**ed off with the servers these last few days but I understand it wasn't Sony's fault.

I wouldn't hold your breath dude. The only time they did that was for the month long outage. And the free stuff honestly wasn't that great. The network has gone down plenty of times since then and they haven't given anything for free for those days. If they felt obligated to do anything, the most they should do to compensate is tack on 3 days to everyone's PS+ membership. But if they don't I'm not gonna complain. It was 3 days.
