PSN servers are down?

can't connect any game to online or even my account information through settings
receiving this
CE-35327-0 :high traffic on there servers or currently unavailable

been the same for the past 3 days even though ive just seen on the playstation website that servers should be back up working?

The connection could still be spotty depending on where you live. Try shutting down your console completely (not in rest mode) and restart it. Doing that may reset the internet connection in the console. I couldn't get on yesterday afternoon, did that then got on. May have been a coincidence but hey, worth a try, like when you restart your router

ah okay thankyou, I have been trying that but no luck yet

I couldn't connect at all to the PSN, even after trying resetting all network devices and the PS4. Then I came across a website that said to change the MTU setting (under network connection) to 1473 from 1500. I don't know how this worked, but it did. I'm on now. I tried to change it back to 1500 and get back on, but could not connect with it set to 1500. Changed back to 1473...I'm on again. Weird.

The connection is still spotty for some, I had a friend who couldn't log on for awhile today but now he can.
