Racing games

Now who on here likes a really good racing game? I sure do. Honestly, I am becoming quite the racing junky. I study then I race, I eat then I race, I bathe and I am back to racing. Sounds interesting huh. I might need to seek some professional ***istance. What are you favorite racing games? Can't wait to see what you got to say. Have a great day.:D

You can't go wrong with Burnout when it comes to racing games. The Road Rage mode alone is worth being the whole game, in my opinion, and there are tons of other modes available to keep you busy. My only problem with it is that it doesn't have is mission specific Crash mode, which I personally loved, and I ***ume many people did too, but they do at least have a similar version of it for this one called "Showtime". Hopefully they bring it back for the next versions, but if not, then I suggest checking out the previous versions as they are all still very much playable.

It depends on what racing game you prefer. Are you more of a simulation kind of racer? Or would you prefer more of an arcade style of racing? If you're more of an arcade racer, then go with what Dr Ripley has recommended. Need 4 Speed is and Ridge Racer are also great picks. But if you want simulation, then GT5 is your safest bet or you could also wait for GT6.

I have always been a fan of racing games. Although I can not get into those games like I used to, because they get too repetitive to quickly. Other than that I love being able to race on video games, they are usually so realistic to me. I haven't played a good racing game since Midnight Club though, so hard to come across good racing games nowadays.

I love me some arcade-like racers. Love stuff like Sega Allstars Racing Transformed, Blur and Split-Second. Also the recent Need For Speeds, but only the ones developed by Criterion.

Couldn't care less about the sim-racers like Gran Turismo and Forza, though...

I usually don't play racing games, but I got the Burnout demo, just the demo, and spent hours playing that thing. Next paycheck I am thinking I need to pick that game up.

Some people prefer racing simulators while others prefer the arcade style games. I personally don't care for the simulator types because I think they require more thought than I'm willing to put into them. Games like Burnout and Need for Speed are my kind of racing games because I can just get into them and do moderately well without putting in dozens of hours practicing. They may not be realistic, but then most games aren't.

I use to play Gran Turismo on the Playstation 3. I stopped playing it because so many other games came out that I only played for about two months. Maybe I should get back to Gran Turismo... I also used to play Midnight Club LA, it doesn't have the same kind of simulation as GT, though.
