Ran out of games to play.

This is the first time in my history of buying a new console that I have literally no games to play after one month. Looking down the road, games releasing on the PS4 are so scarce in between that I find it real hard to keep my PS4 on consistently for the first quarter. Anyone here facing the same issue like me?

Absolutely not.

I had 4 games with my PS4, I got BF4, Fifa 14, Killzone and Lego Marvel.

I only completed Lego Marvel this weekend, and in the meantime I've also downloaded DCUO, Blacklight Retribution and War Thunder. Out of those games, 5 of them have a massive replayabillity factor to me. Plus, in February I'll be adding Outlast to that list.

I only wish I had the time to run out of games lol,, so nope not yet,,,, by the way that war thunder,,is there anyway to revert the controls so to pull up you pull back on the joypad and forward to dive,,,seems like wrong way round to me,,,was going to just delete as cant find any way and just feels awkward as is.

Yeah, go to Options - Controls - Invert y-axis.

I tried that and if didn't change anything,,will have another look in case I never saved the change or something obvious,,,was in a bit of hurry to get back to killzone and fifa so may have overlooked something lol.

Cheers.

I only have one REAL game (not including Just Dance in that). I've done almost everything you can do in ACIV, including all the uncharted treasures and fragments. I've put more time into this AC than I think any other, the reason being I'm not interested in any other games out there right now. So ya, I do kinda agree with you. I'm just fortunate ACIV has managed to withhold my game play. I need about 1 more month until Thief

I don't blame you because it's not like they had an overwhelming number of titles that didn't already come out on the PS3. But I would recommend checking out the indie titles. You can get a lot of those games for free if you're a plus member. I recommend Resogun ( a lot of people are into that game), it's pretty addictive and the co-op adds a lot to it.

I already played Resogun to death lol. I think the problem for me this generation is that the launch titles for the PS4 don't cater to me. I don't like sports games, and most of the games are ports that I already have on the PS3.

What I like about the PlayStation 4 is the numerous games that I can get for my console. If you're out of games to play, then you're probably not looking for the games at all because every time I go on-line I see a new game that I want to either download or buy.

You're not alone, same problem with the Xbox One. There just isn't a whole lot of games out there currently for both the PS4 and Xbox One. Give it a few more months and we should see some sick new titles coming out.

I think it's more that he ran out of games he'd like to play. There's a few games online and some 20 games came out for the PS4, but they're either going to be games for you (that you'd like/love to play), games you'll settle for, and games you don't want to play period. The games up probably fall in column B and C for daimashin.

I only have one game for PS4, but I've been getting a lot of time out of it (AC4). I've sent off for two others so I should be good when more games come in.

It's always the same around the launch of a new console. Developers aren't going to jump ship from the PS3 yet and focus solidly on the PS4, simply because there are still mroe active PS3 units than PS4. I'd say it'll be well towards the end of the year until we see a big shift and a lot of quality games being released on the PS4.

The only time developers really abandoned the last console en masse for the newer one was with the Xbox to Xbox 360 and maybe GC to the Wii (the ones who stuck around)...and with the Wii that was only because Nintendo tends to close up shop pretty quickly on a console.

I can't really say since I've still been playing on PS3 mostly. There's nothing on PS4 I want at the moment. When I do play PS4 it's just Resogun.

It's always best to keep your last console unless you're 100% certain you can survive off of the launch titles for the new console. If you're 98% or 95% certain keep your console.
