Rate the last PS3 game you played

The Last of Us - 9.5/10

Don't let that loss of a point throw you off. I tend to grade kind of hard because of all the games I go through. That said - this is a game with a great storyline, characters you care about, and a lot of interesting questions. It is also a beautiful game that actually bothers to make a green world instead the usual brown/grey of the Apocalypse. They did well with the AI and Ellie was a joy in the way few if any escort characters actually are. The enemies actually feel like a threat because they can outmaneuver you as well as overwhelm you with numbers. There is stealth involved here, but it is done in a way that will require thought but generally not frustration. In short this is a game I'd recommend to any one and everyone.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon - 9/10

What can I say, everything I love wrapped into one little game. 80's cheesy sci-fi movies, corny one-liners, dragons, robots, etc. It was a blast from start to finish again (I played on the 360 a while ago). Highly recommend this game to everyone!

The last game I've played is The Last of Us and I'm working on Darksouls.

The Last of Us is a game of the year contender in my opinion. It was brilliant. I think I'll write a full review on it on another thread so I won't go into grandiose detail about it here. Its really great though. Truly an epic game.

I just finished a little PSN title "Linger in Shadows" made back in 2008. It was on special on the PS Store for $1.94 so I thought what heck, can't go wrong with that.

Let me tell you, I'm watching the end credits as we speak and I have absolutely no idea what the hell I just watched/played. It's "digital artwork" as opposed to an actual game. It is so weird and yet, fascinating. You will never play a game like this ever again in your life!

SO I'll give this a 5/10. If I understood what the message behind it was, I'd give it a higher rating.

Curious as to see if anybody else here has played or even heard of this game?

Managed to finish Borderlands 2 campaign and Resistance: Burning Skies campaign too.

Both fantastic games. B2 was fun especially with a friend (although this was my second time playing the campaign) and Burning Skies was surprisingly good. Was my first PS Vita game too :D

Bit late to the game but I've recently been playing Batman Arkham City and I would give it a 6/10. I really loved Arhkam Asylum, it was very focused and mission based, but Arkham City just makes you run about from one place to another, I can see the appeal to some people but it just felt very generic to me and the atmosphere of the original just wasn't there. Instead of that tight focus the plot felt loose and the pace just dropped down and dragged on.

I am so glad there's someone else out there who preferred the original Arkham Asylum to the sequel!

Red Dead Redemption

This was either the third or fourth time I've played the campaign and guess what? I still love it to death. Everything about this game is perfect. Maybe that's why it's my favourite game of all time? :) Now on to do stranger missions, treasure hunting, plenty more to do!

10/10

The Last Of Us: 10/10

Do I really need to explain why? Come on the graphics were top notch, combat was one of the best I've ever seen and story was engrossing as hell.

Truly a phenomenal game.

Dark Souls: 5/5

I've beaten it 5 times so far, that's why I use an out of 5 rating instead of an out of 10 rating, heheheh. But man, I adore that game. So much detail and thought was put into everything, it's truly amazing, and it's really challenging and difficult but the game is really fair. Hell, it even allows you to be kind of a cheat if you know how to play. That's another reason why I love it: it rewards knowledge and skill.

Battlefield 3 on pc, 8/10 i like it and the graphics are so good i think that's the most appealing about it, the only thing which i really don't like is that i'm not good at it.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen - 9/10
It has it's flaws and problems running on consoles, but damn, if it isn't a series that Capcom could milk out for the next few years!

I finally got to completely run through Bioshock Infinite, and it did not disappoint in the least! A healthy 9/10, even better I'd say than the original Bioshock. That along means it had to be good.

I'd recommend if anyone else is as late as me on playing it, they do so as well. :P

Last game I played was Black Ops 2 haha. IMO, it's a 8/10 and I played for just multiplayer. The lag is annoying, but can be dealt with, and overall I love the graphics, really goes well with my 80inch TV :).

The Last of Us 9/10

It's awesome - I mean, you all know that - and I'm probably going to Platinum it. And that's saying something. I never do that.
Possibly my GOTY, though GTA5 will be a tough contender.

Mafia 2:

Well Ive only started it,chapter 3 but so far its very good, like the GTA style game, set in the 40's..the Italian American accents...lol..Good stuff.
Maybe not fair to rate it now but so far I give it a 8/10.

Journey: 10/10

I've replayed it twice, the second time coming a little while ago. I'm giving it a 10 for what it is: a relatively cheap downloadable title that offers a very unique, memorable experience. I can't think of any negatives. I never ran into any bugs or glitches, the movement of the character is very smooth, the visuals are great, the sound is great... and I came away from the game more emotionally affected than most other 10+ hour games left me.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen - 9/10

Dragons Dogma is friggin' good! All I really want them to do right now is to include an awesome crafting system for Dragon's Dogma 2. Maybe a crafting system similar to Monster Hunter's.
