Reasonably priced headset?

Hey guys, was wondering what everyones suggestions were for a decent headset at a reasonable price? Not looking to spend hundreds lol thanks in advance!

I've had good luck with the PS4 Gold headset. You can often find it on sale for $70 (I paid the normal $100 a few months ago) on amazon and newegg. It's a great headset for the money.

I actually use Bose comfort. They are pretty awesome. I don't know if you would like them or not, but I do.

I'm down for whatever, I just don't wanna spend a fortune on em bc I'll likely only use them occasionally. With all of these horror games coming out I wanna experience em full circle lol and I want em for the last of us factions and destiny/cod adv

One of my friends recommended Turtle Beach. Are these any good??

I use the wired PX22. I managed to get mine incredibly cheap, I have no complaints about them; they work as advertised. I also use them on the PC, but for the money you are better off just getting Golds in my opinion.

What makes the Gold headset so good? Is it comfortable? I find that the main issue I have with headphones are the comfort on my ears and my head. A lot of gaming headphones put a lot of pressure on those parts. Used my friend's Astro A40, but those are expensive as hell.

I used to play with my old Bluetooth headset for my phone. Worked fine but it irritated the hell out of my ear after a few mins. I'll have to check out the golds, thanks

Just bought the ps4 gold headset. Gotta let it charge for a few hours tho before using. I already put it on, quite comfy I might add :) definitely worth $80 at GameStop as of now.

Is there any way to setup chat without a headset? I know there is a mic that works for chat built into the camera accessory, but how to hear others without fully covering one or both ears?

I already have a nice sound system at home so I really don't want to wear a headset.

The PS4 does come with a cheap little earbud type headset,I would'nt call it a headset, more of an earpiece. Using that for chat would'nt get in the way of using a speaker set up.

Tried using it for the first time last night while playing Metro and the volume was really low. I turned the volume up all the way on the headset but still nothing. Is there a setting on the main screen for headset vol?
