Recommended Games for Laptop

Hi everyone!

Yeah, I know, my laptop isn't that powerful but what are the games that you would recommend?

Specs:

i3 2.4Ghz (3MB L3 Cache)
4GB RAM
500 HDD
Integrated Graphics (around 1.7GB according to DXDIAG)

I can play Grid 2 fine. I don't mind setting the configurations to Low either.

GTA V just kidding... hum, I'm not sure, what kind of games do you like? I like horror games and the fist choice I would go for if I were you would be Amnesia The dark descent.

Well, I like racing games (actually, games that involve cars in general).

Here are some of the games that I like (most of them are old though)

- Strategy games (Red Alert, Command & Conquer, Battle Realms)
- RPG (Chaos Legion) - Online (Ragnarok Online)
- Casual (PvZ)

If you can play Grid 2 fine, you can play almost any game other than Planetside 2 and Crysis 3. You will be able to play Skyrim really smoothly.

You could play Torchlight 2 on your laptop. It like Diablo but like has this more cartoon look to it. The game play is really great to play with for hours and you could even set up Lan parties with your friends time to time and just have a blast. Other games would be like League of Legends and I have played Starcraft 2 on Low on a laptop similar to your. You can also try Deus Ex Human revolution. The loading time is a little long but the gameplay isn't much affected on Low and the story is just awesome to play through.

I don't think there is any demo for Crysis 3, but you can always play Planetside 2 for free since it's a F2P game. You don't need to pay a dime if you don't want to.

Wow. So instead of downloading the demo, I have downloaded a .iso file from somewhere (I'm bad). But if in case I would like the game, I would definitely buy the original.

I have tried Dead Island and the graphics looks neat.

Terraria just got updated with the major 1.2 update, you should check it out. You better just grab steam and see what promotions they are having right now, that is the best thing you can do for PC gaming. Also, check La-Mulana if you like metroidvania titles.

My brother has an old laptop that he used to play WARCRAFT,DOTA and DOTA2 that he put the setting to be low. Sure ,he might get stuck on loading screen for a while but overall the game ran pretty good in his laptop. You could also give WORLD OF TANKS a try, a friend seemed to enjoy it.

I am starting to actually enjoy Grid 2 as of the moment. I am slowly learning the techniques in maneuvering my car. Haha.

Torchlight - a very small installer and yet very good graphics. I have actually played Torchlight before but unfortunately, I forgot to play it regularly until I stopped playing it. Might want to try it soon. (also Torchlight II) [I like having a pet hanging around with me haha]

DoTA / 2 - unfortunately, I never grew fond of playing this game. I don't know but I don't feel the enjoyment while playing it.

I might give World of Tanks a try soon as well.

Those are the main games that I play on my laptop, some might be too graphically intensive for yours. I'll add more as I think of them.

I don't think you will be able to run graphic intensive games on laptop unless it's super expansive, but you can play Crysis on medium settings. It has a lot of mods that will keep you busy after a while as well.

Yeah, when I had a crappy laptop I played Minecraft most of the time. I could only run it at like 30FPS, but the mods really kept me entertained. There are countless mods on the Minecraft forums that you can try out, surely you'll find a ton that you love. Different biomes, portal gun mods, etc. There's something for everyone!

You should definitely try out Battlefield 3. I think your PC can handle it just fine with those stats. You could also play the regular games that hardly have any requirements such as League of Legends. As long as the game is fun, you'll be fine.

Hell, I haven't even played Grid 2 online yet (coz I need to link it with Steam)

I definitely check out the games that you guys have recommended but I currently do not have the luxury of time to do so. But yeah, I would try perhaps this weekend and would give you update guys.

I am looking forward to playing Battlefield 3 bwaha. But I must confirm first if my poor laptop can run it. Haha

Try some basic games such as Minecraft. Or if you prefer online browser games you should try playing Super Hot. It's currently in alpha but you could play it at superhotgame,com . If you aren't aware of what this game is about, it's basically an fps game where time moves only where you moves allowing you to dodge bullets and such. It's quite a decent game.

Hi! You'll probably know this game but I'll tell you anyway for other people that may not know it. It's called "Candy Crush" and you have different levels and try to remove some candy by gathering 3 or more of the same colour.
You can find it in Facebook and it's very addictive!
