Remastered PS2 games?

I've read about some "remastered" PS2 games that are available for the PS3 now, specifically Ico, which I somehow missed out on playing the first time it came out. Is it worth buying the remastered version? Is it really so much better?

I played the remastered Ico, at my friends house. There was no change in gameplay, that I saw, but the graphics were enhanced. Is enhanced graphics worth buying Ico? I would rather save the money, and buy a new game.

It depends on you, if you really want to play the game then why not find a cheap deal and get it. I have actually done this with the Conflict series games, those ones I missed out on PS2. Sometime it depends on the individual and your passion for a game. I now have the complete series on the Conflict games because am a fan of the game, I really love the stories.

Yeah I doubt they would change gameplay, but rather they would focus on enhancing the graphics of the game. I've never personally tried any remastered ps games, but I'm curious to see if anyone else has tried some titles and what they were like.

I'm really looking forward to the Kingdom Hearts HD collection, but mainly because I love the franchise in general. I had the first two games for PS2, but my console died a long time ago and I only recently got a PS3. I sold those games a long time ago (because I wasn't really planning on buying a PS3 back then), but I'd like to be able to play them all again. It's also cheaper to buy the collection rather than each of its pieces separate, and I see its remaster as an added perk. It isn't a selling point, but it is a nice cherry on top of an already great deal.
