[RUMOR] PS4 + Vita bundle

A recent Inside Gaming Daily video has claimed that there will be a PS4 and a Vita bundle for sale at the end of the year for around $500. Now this is great competition between the Xbox One and their Kinect with the PS4 and the Vita. If that's true, then that would be great news. While Vita can't be used for certain games, I've heard that most games are programmed to be played with the Vita which is exciting news.

Inside Gaming Daily claims to have been told by a "well-placed anonymous source" that a bundle containing the two consoles will release at "the end of the year" for "around $500" (~ £325).

Yeah I also agree that would be great news. I do wonder if people will hold off from purchasing the PS4 and just wait for this bundle? (provided it does become true)

Sounds good so this is like the Playstation Vita + PS4? well that would be good but i'm waiting for Playstation Move for the PS4 as i love that brings back memories of like Wii etc lets hope they do that since they have made positive updates since it was released!

This is great news! This actually makes me think about buying the Vita, while I haven't put much consideration in doing so before. Having the Vita and PS4 would provide a great gaming experience for a long time.

This rumor is giving me massive needs. This promo would actually make me consider buying a PS4 a lot earlier since I really do want to get to try out the Vita anyway, and this would be the perfect opportunity to buy both. If there is only one possibly which would make me want to cancel my PS4 pre-order, that would be this bundle. I wish what I read over Videogamer turns out to be true and Sony actually launches a PS4 + Vita bundle with a compelling price. I won't hold my breath for it though

Well damn, does this mean they are competing directly with the Xbox One not just with the PS4, but with the PSVita, now with the same price? If only the PSVita had a library of games as good as the PSP, that would be an incredible deal, but this just seems like they are giving away PSVitas as paperweights.

Anyhow, this is great news. I am more than willing to pay a little extra for a PSVita especially since there's going to be lots of connectivity between it and the PS4. Wow, if this comes to fruition this will be yet another nail in the coffin for the trailing Xbox One. A price drop for Xbox One would be a wise strategy, although very risky.

Haha, exactly. If it turns out to be true, it will be nothing but more trouble for Microsoft. Coming back to PS4+Vita bundle, I think this will be a very wise move if they decide to launch such a bundle, because it would help sell both of their consoles. But, I don't think it's going to happen in near future.

Also, I don't think we will see a drop in Xbox One price anytime soon.

If this turns out to be true, it will definitely be an awesome deal. What makes it so much better is that the systems are pretty much designed to go along with one another, as many PS4 games are being developed in mind with the idea of cross platform gameplay. Hopefully this rumor is true as I'm sure many gamers will be excited at the thought of this pretty great deal.

It's a cool idea but I think that not a lot of people would dig into it. Well, at least not until Sony gives us a big reason to purchase the bundle. I guess they're planning a lot of games to incorporate the PS4 - PS Vita connectivity. But we'll still have to see how that works out. Would it be like the Wii U? Would it be better?

I don't think that the Vita+PS4 offer will be available at same price. If they decide to go for this compelling bundle, I would expect the price to swell up a little. But, it's Sony we are talking about here, so I can't say for sure as to what they are going to do if they ever launch such a bundle.

I agree that is a great deal for just about anyone. The PS Vita and Playstation 4 being sold together makes you think about the purpose of your purchasing the Playstation 4 by itself. The Playstation Vita did not sell as great as I thought it would. Although the handheld gaming age has declined, due to the age most people play handheld games. Bundling the Playstation 4 and PS Vita will do a excellent job competing with the Xbox One and Kinect system.
