Saints Row 4 - to buy or not to buy?

So for future games I am wondering whether to buy Saints Row 4 or not. I have GTA V now which will take me ages to complete and stuff so no rush on buying it, but I am wondering whether to buy it in the future. I am thinking maybe for £10 if I do buy it. Is there many missions? Or is it just fun mucking around on it as that is what I will do.

I don't know, I mean Saints Row is cool but it always just felt like a poor man's Grand Theft Auto for me. I mean that's like playing NFL2K over Madden in a sense, both are good but one is obviously better than the other. It is entirely different though if you prefer Saints Row over the Grand Theft Auto series but from what you indicated above that is not the case. I say save your cash for the new survival horror game "The Evil Within" from the maker of the Resident Evil series and Devil May Cry among others, check that out instead is what I recommend crazyduck.

If it is under $20 you should buy it. I am not too familiar with the conversation, but I believe £10 is roughly $15. There is a feasible amount of missions, but the real fun comes from messing around in the most stupid, imaginable ways, possible. I have yet to play the GTAV, but I have always preferred Saints Row as a franchise simply because of its sarcastic, tongue-in-cheek, presentation. It does not take itself seriously and it embraces itself. While one might think this has run its course, there still remains something charming about Saints Row's dirty personality.

Saints Row 4 is just as bad as Saints Row 3. I remember when Saints Row 1 and 2 was one of my favorite games to play. Then they come out with this ridiculous idea for a game, it was such a cheesy idea for a game.

Oh, if you have Grand Theft Auto V right now, then just wait it out. Grand Theft Auto Online will release shortly and most likely there will be a GOTY edition of Saint's Row 4, so just wait for that and enjoy GTA for now!

Have to agree here. I also wouldn't mind giving Saints Row IV a go, but with GTA V and it's online component about to release, I'll just wait it out until it drops in price or a GOTY edition releases.

Well, if you want to play a bizarre game with no sense, but have some fun time, give it a go. I am sure you will love it. This game is nowhere near to GTA V in terms of world size and quality, but it's well worth you time and money.

Saints Row 3 was a stretch for me , i wasn't able to do it until it was on a humble bundle. The fourth, I'm not sure. the game play is fun but its inherently attempting to try to keep itself relevant. The story of the fourth? Really? No spoilers, but this series needs a reboot and to get back to the street wars that made it awesome before. I would wait on this title. There will be another humble bundle someday and your money goes to charity and then you have numba 4.

Go ahead if you really want it. I don't see why you would though since GTA V is out, in my opinion it's a way better game than all the Saints Row combined. Just play GTA in the meantime and when the price drops buy the game.
