searching for gaurdians

Is there any way to search for guardians for weekly strikes etc. Like you do for regular strikes, PvP, etc. Where you cannot enter the zone without random online players? A setting or something? I have a hard time finding players to help and not many friends in friend list, so I am just stuck because I cannot solo them.
