Second generation Sony Move coming soon?

I've never did the mirror thing. I did like the PS Move but wish more would've been done with it. I would be welcome to a Move 2 if they went for it.

I haven't done the mirror thing either. Kinda want to attempt it...seems like it would require some skill to successfully play your game away from the TV and using a system of reflections.

Well with that PS4-Vita setup and Wii U no mirrors will be needed. That's a good thing about this generation: you don't have to be in front of your TV to keep the action going.

I was thinking about rail shooters and I'd like a series of rail slashers that would be more natural with the Move/Move 2 than pointing the Move and the screen, pressing a button, and allowing the game to do the rest while not being like holding a gun naturally with the Move. It's like holding a flashlight with rail shooters.

I want first person slashers period, but a rail slasher would be pretty cool with the Move. Kind of like...Red Steel only you don't control movement all that much, I'm guessing.

I still give the thumbs up for colonial FPS. The genre will get to the point where it's like:

"Sci-fi FPS, modern warfare FPS...WW2 FPS. Let's mix it up, people!"

"...how about a 18th century shooter?"

"DO IT!"

I know why the first person slasher isn't an actual genre (maybe it wouldn't catch on), but there are so many FPS there should be at least a couple first person slasher out there.

I would be all over guncon/on-rails shooters. Would be nice if the guncons themselves returned with the bad ass names...like the Justifier.

Yeah, that's actually cool! I remember playing those when i was younger and I has a blast!
But I don't think Sony will make it that way, unfortunately.

That's true, I doubt they would actually go that route with it. Would be cool if they did, but Sony doesn't really mess around with accessories like that.

The problem with the peripherials the Move and the Kinect has always been the software. I think it was mentioned before in the thread, but at least Nintendo made games that fit the peripherials and were actually good. Other than Just Dance I can't think of really good games that used the cameras well. I think Puppeteer was a Move game and one of the few good ones that wasn't just shovelware.

At the end of the day, I think that these peripherals are cheap gimmicks that are designed to make a quick bit of money but ultimately, the plan always backfires as companies don't want to go out of their way to make games to support these types of peripherals. Sony, please don't bother, you're just gonna bleed more money!

Don't listen to NeoTokyo, Sony. You go on and do your little Move 2. Make yourself a couple of games and whatnot...

I hope they don't put too much emphasis on this device. Move was a fantastic device, technologically, but I barely touched mine and I have no interest in another Move at all. Nintendo has given up on Motion (for now), and, even though every X1 comes with Kinect, it doesn't seem like the actual Kinect games seem to be doing that well.
