Shadow of the Colossus

As crazy as the idea of just doing 16 boss battles one after the other sounds, Shadow of the Colossus made it work and that too in style. Each of the colossi can fill any list of best boss battles and the game's ending, after you're done struggling with colossus number 16, is one of the best ever.

Anyone who has played the game and didn't like it is probably just weird. So, I'll just ask about your favorite battles in the game. Was it colossus number 15 Argus or number 7 Hydrus or something else altogether?

I have heard a lot of good things about that game. I have never had any chance to play it myself though. I probably will never play it since they have stopped selling PS2 now. Let's see if I can play it on my PC through a good emulator.

Still a little sad of how much content was cut during production. I would have preferred for them to wait for the PS3 and just have 24 bosses. Hell, make it 16 bosses and then 4+ extra for people who want more.

Still, it's hard not to choose the eagle or the giant flying sandworm, only the idea of being able to hold unto them while they move in the sky was too crazy back in the day!

Hmm, good thread but I'm pretty sure that this is similar to a thread that i have opened before: http://ps4forum.com/9-playstation-legacy/615-best-boss-fights-ps2.html

The thread is only for Shadow of Colossus. Admittedly, the SOTC discussion in thread inspired me to make one specifically for this game. That one was for greatest boss fights, this one is for SOTC. Just a coincidence that some of the greatest boss fights happen to be in Shadow of the Colossus. :)

I chose the giant flying sand worm over the giant eagle/stingray because of the location. The place where you battle the sand worm is wider than the place where you fight the giant eagle. It leaves you more room to navigate and makes it all the more enjoyable.
