hello, i saw few posts on this subject but couldnt see anything with my situation we are 3 children at home, and we had 2 ps4, that we shared and used the ps+ and games on both consoles we recently bought another console for my little brother so now we have 3 consoles. each one of us has his own psn account only my older brother has ps+ i set his acc as primary on my consoles so i could play his games and use his ps+ i wanted to ask if it is possible to add the 3rd brother to the sharing because as we tried to set primary on his console it said that i must deactivate in mine. so is there any option to make it work? or any soulution to make it better i hope you understood since english is not my native language :)
to sum up: past:
2 consoles - share - everything good
3 consoles - share - problem
thank you

Unfortunately there is no getting around this. You can only play the game on the primary console and any console the game purchasing PSNid is using. When PS3 first came out the number of people that could share games was 5 but then they lowered it to 2 just after the release of Pay Day. You will have to buy the game twice from now on if everyone want's to play. I have 4 PS4's and have been all digital since the PS3. The Xbox One was going to share between 10 people but everyone got up in arms about the DRM. When Microsoft scrapped the DRM they scrapped the 10 player share as well.

so the only solution is to buy twice each game and buy 2 ps+??
if i deactivate from primary im no longer able to play the games?
do sony have any intention to change it??

Sorry to say but yes. If you want to play online with more then 2 people it will require another PS+ subscription. You will have to buy the game twice as well. I can't see Sony changing its share limit. But you never know. If you wait until things go on sale on PSN you can get some pretty good deals. I bought 2 copies(4 games) of black ops 3 when they were on sale for half off. So if you think about it I got 4 Black ops 3 and 4 season passes for the price of 1 Black ops 3 physical disk + 1 the season pass. this is why I shake my head at all the people that have to have physical media.

thanks a lot
another little question
i undersyad that if i want to play online i need to buy ps+ X2
what about offline?
is it possible to buy a game on 1 ps4 >> share it to 2nd >> then share it to 3rd?
or at the moment i make 3rd as primary 2nd couldn't play the games even offline?

No. If you go off line you can only play on the primary system. I have 2 systems and if the internet goes out I have to play on the livingroom system as it is my primary. The same is true for my boys. if the internet goes out they can only play the games they have bought on the primary system they were bought on. All other systems get a lock symbol on the avatar of the game. Sorry to say but there is no way around the 2 system limit.

Sorry for being dumb hehe, but another question since im not sure i got you well..
I'll describe a situation and please tell me if its possible

I got 1st ps4 with digital games and ps+
I shared it with 2nd ps, so now my 2nd ps have all games
I deactivated 2nd and activated 3rd as primary, so now my 3rd has all digital games and stays activated as primary with ps+ benefits

If i buy another ps+ for my 2nd, will he be able to play the 1st's digital games online while not being activated as primary? Considering i have internet connection at all time.
Will he be able to play 1st games at all while not being activated as primary?

Thanks a lot again!

OK I will try to explain this as best I can in writing. On my living room system that is my primary System that has PS+ Anybody can play all of my games and go online with it using my PS+. Now if you were to walk down to my bedroom and try you can't, I can though. I can go online anywhere in the world with my PS+. Because My second system has the games I have purchased on it and the fact that I have PS+ I am aloud to play on any system I want. Once I log into PSN all my account info is accessed. The only way anybody can play on my secondary console is #1, Play under my name or #2, They own the game themselves.

SO hear we go. Yes You will be bale to play on all three systems providing you are the purchaser. You could download you games you could download you games on a million systems and be able to play them. The catch is everything is linked to your account. If the world was to loose internet the only system you would be able to use is your primary system, you would be locked out of all others. Because your son has access to a game can only mean 2 things. #1, He is the purchaser or #2, he is playing on the purchasers primary console.

It's sort of hard to get your head around with just 2 systems so I do understand the confusion with 3,LOL. I own 4 PS4's and I tried everything but there is no getting around it. If you have more then 2 systems you have to buy the game twice. My oldest son and I both have PS+ and that allows all 4 of us to play online BUT it has to be done a certain way. My oldest sons Primary PS4 is in my youngest sons room. Doing this allows my youngest son to play online and access to my oldest sons library of games. My youngest Sons primary PS4 is in the older sons room. This allows the older son access to my younger sons game library. Now I can go into my youngest sons room and play any of my oldest sons games because it is my oldest sons primary PS4 But I can't go into his room and play my oldest sons game. He of course can play them because even though he isn't on his primary console he does own the games and because his PS+ is linked to them he has access as soon as he signs onto PSN.I also can not play my youngest sons games in my youngest sons room as his primary system is in his brothers room. All of his games have lock symbols on them. Once I go into his brothers room I do have access to them because I am now on my youngest sons primaryPS4. Even though I have PS+ I still need to have bought the game before I can play it. If my youngest son goes into his brothers room to play on his primary console he can't go online because he doesn't have PS+.

My youngest son and my wife can only use 2 systems in the house because of the fact that they do not have PS+. They only have access to online play on the primary PS4's of mine and my oldest sons. So even if you did get your 3rd son PS+ it won't do him any good. If you have more then 2 systems you will need to have at least 2 PS+ subscriptions and you will need to buy the games twice. Hope that helps and sorry for the bad news. If you have anymore questions ask away.
