Should they lower prices on downloaded games?

Actually, the only reason why games are so expensive in their 'disc and casing' state is due to labor costs, as a good portion of that money goes toward the retailer as well. The middleman is entirely siphoned out when downloading games digitally, but then there is the issue of Sony having to pay server costs, so once the chain has circled around, the final prices end up being similar to or greater than (in some cases) going to the store physically to purchase the game. Perhaps some day we will have adequate hardware and internet connections to dissolve these high prices, but not any time soon.

I think they should lower the price on downloaded games by 5-10$. However platforms like Steam always have insane markdowns on games year round which makes PC gaming pretty cheap sometimes.

The only thing that annoys me is paying $40 - $60 for a game and then have it three weeks later for free on PS+.

I would like to see the Steam type discounts but Sony wants their weight in gold and then some for the games. It will be interesting to see with similar architecture to the PC and Xbone if there are more games available for the PS4 that would not have gotten ported to the cell cpus of the PS3. More games would create pricing wars eventually.

Yeah they should make a section"coming soon for ps+" so people will know whether they should buy a game or wait. But that would Of course cut into their profits.

PlayStation Plus allows free PSN Games.

Exactly but they don't have a section saying what's coming out for free soon so for example, someone could buy a game without knowing it will be on ps+ for free in a week or so. If they knew this they would perhaps just wait, causing PlayStation to lose the money.
