Shoutbox

I don't know if the forums have one and I just don't see it, but I was wondering if it would be possible for the site to have a shouting or chatbox.

What a shoutbox does is allow members to talk to each other without needing to make a thread or send a private message. It would also makes it easy to find people to play with in a hurry.

This is just a suggestion and I love the forums so far

Hey Stigmatic, we actually thought about the shoutbox and its great for small sites and clans. But for larger sites they tend to eat up too many resources. Which is why you won't see alot of bigger sites with them.

Plus I think it would detract people from actually using the forum for posting.

I second the notion against, on the basis it will subtract possibly good sources of info from the actual forums
