When is the beta happening?

I've signed up and I eagerly await the BF1 experience.

Dunno,no doubt those that signed up will get an email..also I guess keep an eye out on the internet for when it starts.

The open starts August 31. With BF insiders being to play it a little earlier,how much earlier dont yet.

Insiders will be able to download and play it 1 day earlier.(30th)
So keep an eye on your email inbox for a code.
Other than that the open beta will ofcourse be available to everyone on the 31st of August,no codes needed to download then.

Well,those you signed up will have their codes by now and probably already downloaded and are playing.
Approx download size is about 6.5GB.
AFAIK it runs for about a week.
Looks only only 1 map,the Sinai Desert map but it has horses,an armored train, planes and dynamic weather.
Two game modes,Conquest with 64 players and Rush with 24 players.

I had a quick so far,pretty much typical BF style but in WW1 ofcourse.
Those who love BF will no doubt like it,those who are still used to CoD style gameplay (like me) may take time to adjust.
I do like it however,just need to get used to the BF style of gameplay (yes,I have had BF games in past but never played them a great deal).

So,anyone else play yet? Thoughts?
