Sims 4 goes for emotional depth

Seems like a nice upgrade from Sims 3, but i don't think it's worth a complete new number on the series. But i do have to admit that i like the new body customization.

I think they have blown the series seriously number 2 and 1 were great, 3 was focused too much on trying to get it graphical etc and not enough has been worked on in the sense of gameplay..

That kind of sounds interesting. Making them characters slightly more realistic, I guess? I like how this sounds so far, and I'm not a huge Sims fan.

Number 3 focused on giving them aspirations, and now 4 is trying to give them feelings to accompany their dreams. Honestly 3 was a major step up for them in terms of making the series really relevant again and now 4 is looking to maybe bring in more individuals who would previously have written this series off as stupid.

Hmm. I actually enjoyed the Sims 3 quite a bit, especially with the house building aspects of that game. I fear that now the developers may
have unintentionally oversimplified the process. I mean, it's great that doing all of those things is easier, but don't take out what made it
fun in the first place, ya know?

All the footage that has been shown is really not promising. The sims just seem more cartoony, and their emotions superficial...
