Just a reminder Gamescom 2014 is close upon us. Sony has confirmed its Gamescom 2014 press conference will take place on Tuesday, August 12 at 11am PT / 2pm ET / 7pm GMT. What do you think PS4 related will be announce also anything else related to anything Sony (PS3/Vita)?

I personally think we will see Bloodbourne, LBP3, Drive Club, Infamous DLC, Media Molecule PS4 game?

I don't think there will be much interesting news coming from it, but I wouldn't mind some more Bloodborne footage so I can feel bad for not having a PS4 :(

Have they mentioned anything about their VR headset? I'd love to hear more about it at this conference.

I think it is safe to assume they will talk about it in some form or another but I don't know if anything new of it will be shown. Definitely going to be on the show floor though.

I think mostly it won't be that interesting but I do think the main 2 things that will come out of it will be something Bloodborne related and Media Molecules new game (they have been teasing it for agess).

I don't think there will be much more on hardware at Gamescon, maybe a little about the VR headset, but they'll mainly be focusing as always on games. I'm most excited for Bloodbourne, I can tell that it is going to be an insanely good game. What's Media Molecules new game, I haven't heard much about it at all yet?

I don't care about VR personally I'm more interested in the games that they are going to show. I too would like to see some more footage of Bloodborne other than the ones that leaked last time. I hope the show will focus more on the retail games and not too much on indies. I don't mind the indies I just don't want them to be the focus all the time.

That VR headset thing actually sounds really interesting. I've been meaning to try them out for a long time. I've tried some like 10 years ago in controlled environments at museums and stuff like that but nothing like the recent ones for personal use.

We may see Bloodbourne, Infamous and others but that may be around the fall season. I don't see it anytime soon to be quite honest. I'm very use to the idea of them talking about these pending releases and the possibility of a delay looming around the corner for them to fix something in order to make it better. I'm a patient type of person, so I'll wait and see what game plan they have in store for us.

Oh god, not more Infamous. It was nice when it was new and unique, but now they're going to be as bad as they badmouth Nintendo for being.

Oh well that's not too bad then. Although you saying that is the first time I've heard someone called it an expansion and not DLC in a long time.

The thing is. Obviously it is DLC but I always acknowledge game DLC that are released separately and are pretty much a full game for sub-prices game expansions. I feel they work differently to DLC. With these like Undead Nightmare or Festival of Blood they are essentially full games albeit do not take long to complete but you don't need the actual game to play which is cool. Normal DLC is normally crap like new maps and stuff to me anyway.

Im ready to hear about drive club. I want to have at east one good driving game on the ps4. Im ready for new games in general.

Yeah yeah I get you, it's just unusual to hear expansions rather than DLC. It's nice, reminds me of when we'd get proper big expansions which as you say, were almost like full games back in the day, or sometimes if you were lucky, especially with things like Baldur's Gate, or Neverwinter Nights, there was mods that were literally bigger than the games themselves!

Ah but mods will always be better than official releases as people are more free to be creative seeing as though you aren't paying for them. I suppose now-a-days people are used to buying DLC so companies keep doing it, they know it is a good market to be utilising unfortunately.

True that.

I'm hyped for any new Drive Club announcements, but I can't watch it live sadly. Have to watch it on wednesday, because I don't have access to the internet on tuesday.

Gamescom is just a few days away. I am so pumped up for it. This is the event where wee actually get to see extended gameplay footage for our upcoming games.
