Sony Confirms PS3 Wireless Headsets Will Work on the PS4

The PS4 will come with mono wired headphones so it's nice to know you can use your PS3 wireless set. Sony is really making a point that they respect and want to keep their customers. Your move Microsoft.

It was inevitable. Do you think Sony would force us to buy a new Bluetooth headset? Microsoft gera the same.
Sony thinks the players. Until now, they did a faultless for communication. They must continue on the same path.

Migration to the PS4 will not be too overwhelming.

It's nice that they're perceptive enough to realize when standards are changing, and that headsets have now become a requirement with console gaming. I agree that they are making seemingly small but right moves to please their fans, and at this point, I just hope that their consoles deliver as promised so it won't be terribly disappointing.

Cool. I actually have a wireless headset for my PS 3. I would have purchased a new wireless headset if I already own a PS 4. However, this is good news. My old headset is still functional. This would save me some cash which I could use to purchase additional games.
