Sony is Officially Bundling the Playstation 4 and Playstaton Vita Together!

It seems, according to IGN, that Sony will be bundling the Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita together in one, epic package. At the moment, we only have confirmation it will be coming out in the United Kingdom.

There is no official word on pricing or release dates; especially in other countries. The 'Ultimate Bundle' will be officially coming out and that is good news for gamers. Sit back, relax and wait for more news regarding prices, release dates and more information.

I don't see how this benefits anyone at all. There will likely be no savings in purchasing it in a bundle and I don't know many people who are looking for a PS4 and a Vita at the same time.

If you are though, and there's somehow some sort of benefit to buying this, well, good for you I guess!

Yeah, I'm not completely behind this. Sure it gives people the incentive to buy a Vita especially if you're interested in remote play but at the very least if you don't want a vita you don't have to buy the bundle. I don't mind the promotion because it might get more people to consider buying it but I probably won't pick it up.

I wouldn't mind picking up a Vita if it's not too much. That has to say a lot for how those have been selling, though.

I already own a vita so this isn't the pack for me. But I'm not surprised by this, Sony needs the Vita to sell and they are trying to press upon gamers that you can play your Vita on the PS4 ( I might be mistaken and that feature is only available in Japan). Either way, it would depend on how much the bundle cost and what games it came with before I judged it.

If they price it at around $500, I am optimistic that they will sell a lot of them and probably even do significant damage to their competition - considering the new Xbox is priced pretty much the same but with this one, instead of just getting a camera as an extra, you'd be getting a whole new portable console.

True, if they make more people aware of the Vita and the abilities that it has next to the PS4 as long as the price is still lower than the Xbox One I don't see why don't sell more consoles. I like the Vita (I prefer the 3DS) but it needs all the help that it can get against Nintendo who dominates the handheld market. If this helps get it into more peoples hands and helps more games come out for it then I'm cool.

The Vita is actually a lot of fun to play it's just that it hasn't really managed to get a foothold into the handheld world that Nintendo rules with an iron fist, especially in Japan- they do better there but Nintendo is still king. Anyway I could see plenty of people buying the bundle price is right. Maybe if it included a vita and the camera, I could see myself tempted to buy it.

I feel that the PS4 / Vita idea is like the Wii U remote. I have a Wii U.. Meh. I had a PSP Go.. Not getting a Vita. I have a Nintendo 3DS is I want to play a handheld game. Just not for me.

If there is some sort of savings by bundling great, if not.. Hmmm.. Might not be a good move then. But I am sure there is a good percentage of people who want to have that Vita capability with the new console.

The gimick behind a bundle like this, is they add games and stuff to it, so that's what makes it a bit cheaper for the consumer. For Sony however, with the possible shortages coming up if they put say 1/3 of their PS4's in a bundle that cost more money when you go to buy the PS4 you have no choice but to spend more money and then you also have another system you will buy games for down the line as well. Makes perfect sense for Sony! And if they have the games interact again this time it'll be something loads of people want.

Shana, you made perfect sense, I like that thought and it's understandable. Sony is pretty good at figuring stuff out, even when they f up.

Then what's the point? They wouldn't announce a bundle if there was no point to the bundle at all. Seriously.

I think this is excellent for people who want to get both systems cheap. I've always wanted a Vita, but the price is high and it doesn't too many games. The PS4 cost is ok for a console, but still lacks games.

I like that they are trying to push the Vita, since they are working hard to impress upon us the fact that remote play is an option. I like my Vita (though I use the 3DS more) and I'm hoping that with the PS4 the Vita becomes something that more gamers want to have.

Ugh... Maybe if I saw this earlier, I wouldn't have bought my PS vita... But nonetheless, I hope this bundle will increase the sales and fanbase of the PS Vita because it seems to lack a lot of people.

Hopefully this bundle is successful and everything goes great for Sony because they really deserve it!

I think this is brilliant on their part. I am sure that they will slash some price off of the two with this bundle. It will get Vita's in people's hands, so that now all they have to do it to start buying games.
