Sony Santa Monica is Hiring, like a lot

So Sony Santa Monica, you might know them from God of War, is going through a major hiring spree. Ads keep popping up with them looking for people to work at the studios. So of course there are a ton of rumors going around about what their up to that they need this much new personnel. I haven't heard anything about a mass firing at least from this studio so I can't help but wonder what's happening. Maybe a news PS All-Stars?

Wondering what's this about. Read the comments on that page and people were mentioning a new Crash, one can only hope.

The Crash rumors were already dispelled. Hopefully it's not firing though, hopefully they're going to develop multiple titles at once.

Very interesting. I hope they are making a new game that isn't God of War but similar to it, because I do love the gameplay of that game but I've grown tired of the theme and the all too serious tones.

Who knows what is going on right now, and if the Crash rumors served any purpose then it's making sure that both Activision and Sony understand that fans haven't forgotten him and we want him back. Anyway I'd like to think that the mass hiring is for some new big project to help draw more attention to the PS4 and really take advantage of the power.

They're probably developing a new game and need more people to develop a new IP for the PS4. Or at least that's what I hope.
