Sony seems to be Justifying Knack Possibly being Bad

I haven't played Knack, I was never interested in Knack but even I felt bad for the dev team when Shuhei Yoshida came out saying, "I was hoping Knack could score in the mid 70s". I mean ouch. The fact that he came out with this statement means that Sony knew that Knack wasn't that great to begin with. Which is a shame when Sony really should have knocked the PS4 launch out of the park. Are there are Knack fans that disagree?

i dont understand why knack isnt on the ps3. it isnt exactly next gen material, it looks very dull actually from what i've seen so far you can only do a 3-punch combo. knack feels like a ps1 game. spyro trumps all over this.

Actually it seems like the visuals is the only thing it has going, which is why it isn't on ps3. yea they can tone down the graphics and release it on ps3, but then sony cound't say they had an exclusive

The only thing next gen about Knack that I can tell for playing it is how he is made up of sons of fragments, and when you die (which is a lot) he explodes and the fragments go everywhere. Should require a decent CPU. Not sure if the PS3 could handle it.

Knack is just a demo for the PS4, a way to show off the power and it's graphical capabilities much like Ryse is a tech demo for the Xbox One. Unfortunately gameplay came in second, Knack isn't a bad game it's just that it's pretty average when you get down to it. It had potential to be a lot more but it does show that the PS4 is pretty.

I don't want to sound arrogant when saying this but I didn't think Knack looked good in the trailer, gameplay or release stage, the game isn't really that good in my eyes. I think like Hellsing said, it had potential but never lived up to the mark.

I do think the only reason it sold as well as it did was because the PS4 bundle had Knack in it.
