It looks neat and well organized, it's very appealing in my eyes. However, it reminds of of the Xbox One home screen as well. Maybe that's just me?

No, unfortunately it's not just you. I like the look of the UI but I'm not thrilled as it looks like it was made by the same people who did the Xbox One UI.

I ain't really a fan of the design, but that is maybe because i still didn't try it out. The only thing i really care about now is how smooth it runs,specially the store.

The PS3 store was really, really slow.

The colors look rich and vibrant. I think the UI will be smooth and user friendly. I love the shade of blue that is in those pictures. I expect a good user experience from sony. They've always done a good job at it. Thanks for posting the pictures.

Lol I had the same thought. It looks clean and nice but hmm it's nothing that makes me go 'OH WOW THAT LOOKS SUPER AWESOME,MUST HAVE IT'.

Looks alright but way too much blue i mean jeez could they have picked anything else that was just so bland looking? Also i hate being introduced to new UI's so im not sure how i will fare with this one hehe

I think there's going to be a bit of a learning curve to it. And now you guys mention it, it does bear some resemblance to the Xbox UI. That's okay with me though. As long as it isn't clunky and slow then it doesn't matter to me how many platforms it's on.

Looks really nice and clean. And yeah, it does look a bit like the Xbox/Windows UI. And the font looks similar to the Windows GUI. But still, well done to the PS4. At least PS4 is headed to the right direction in Modern UI.

Ya, I feel the same way too. It might be because I use my laptop with Windows 8 a lot and because of the blue back ground. The chat thing looks like Skype on my Windows 8.

Aouch... This looks a little bit like Xbox One's Windows 8, I'm a little disappointed... Well, it's still not Windows 8 hahah

I've already gotten so used to the old interface, and am very much attached to it at this point, but at the same time I am not that much against change nor do I hate the Windows mobile/Xbox interface in particular, so I could probably learn to love this as well. I suppose most designs are a lot more homogenous nowadays anyway, so it's not really too much of a stretch for them to now be using something that looks too much like the competition's. I'm pretty hyped to try it out though, and I like the fact that thumbnails are a lot more prominent with this design, whereas the old one relied a bit heavily on text which does admittedly become problematic at times.

I think they used the exact same font as Xbox One. Kind of surprising, there's so much they could have done to make it look different. But it just looks like a Windows interface.
