Sony still taking unnecessary jabs at Microsoft on Launch

That "how to share games" never gets old. It's like that's exactly how it should be done. I'm sure there was one person at the table during the planning for the Xbox One who said "Can't we just...trade them like we do now? I dunno, that seemed to work for like 35-36 years...I could be wrong, though."

In situations like that, there's always that one person with common sense. That's the worst person to be sometimes. Makes you feel like you stumbled into crazy land where up is down and all of that. There was obviously someone with common sense on Microsoft press team for the Xbox One facepalming.

I find it that this competition between the 2 really is healthy for the Gaming industry because they always try to get something better out there. It's also funny how Sony likes to take little jabs at Microsoft time to time. Maybe they read reddit a lot because they seem to respond to most of the things that Reddit seems to cry about.

"Unnecessary" is a strong word. I think both companies are poking fun at one another but there isn't any malicious intent from either side. A bit of competition is healthy and it helps sales of both consoles. I'm sure one of them will end up selling more consoles, but it doesn't really mean that much since both Sony and Microsoft are selling a ton either way.

Competition is definitely healthy, if any company had a monopoly they would probably not give a heck about making things good. PS+ in Japan was proof of this until recently.

Yeah, it's not malicious but I want this to never stop. This is the kind of jabs that I've missed from the 90s. When Sega appealed to the dudebros and Sony made commercials that made me very uncomfortable as a child. I hope that they never stop insulting each other, I want Sony to never stop not being subtle about it. I want Microsoft to try but kind of fail. It will be glorious.

While I don't want Microsoft to just fall short overall, I do want them to continue being awkward at everything PR related. I've never cringed at reading/hearing so much stuff from one company. It's like fodder for Sony.

So true. Microsoft is so awkward when they get in front of a mic or press member. You have this great, advanced entertainment console, you speak about it, and everyone just crosses their arms and shake their head.

There's the trouble with some of it. You're just trying to trip someone who is falling all over themselves anyways.

Not that it still isn't fun. :D

They try sometimes but their PR team is admittedly a little incompetent. No one wants the Xbox One to fail, what we want is to see them try because their so bad at the response. It warms my heart a little, in a way Microsoft is the video game worlds Charlie Brown and Sony is Lucy. Sony is constantly just yanking that football out from under Microsoft.
