Soulcalibur 2 HD Online is headed to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this fall, and Namco Bandai have confirmed that both Tekken’s Heihachi and Todd McFarlane’s Spawn will be available on both consoles.

The original Soulcalibur 2 featured Heihachi as a playable character on PlayStation 2, Spawn on the Xbox, and Link on the Nintendo GameCube. While Link is obviously not an option, this is the first time both Spawn and Heihachi will both be available on the same console.

So, am I the only one that thinks that this games looks really great for a game that's just an HD version of an old game? Having both of these fighters around is a great addition too.

I was hoping we would get Spawn! Awesome. Now for sure I'll be picking this one up.

That is really cool, too bad that we don't get Link too, that would be too much to handle! Maybe a Wii U release with it could be possible? Either way, definitely going to get this when it comes out.

Well, perhaps if there's a Wii U version eventually, they could add Link along with Heihachi and Spawn. They haven't said anything about a Wii U version, though, so I'm doubting that such a version will even be released...

The fact that this won't be on Wii U and the Gamecube version was obviously the superior one disappoints me greatly.

Cool that Heihachi is getting included. I always thought it made more sense to include cameos in fighting games from characters from other fighting games.
