Spiderman games?

My nephew is a huge Spiderman fan so I'm looking for a Spiderman game for his PS3. Is there one out? What do you think of it? I would hate to buy it if the game has bad reviews. Any other Spidey fans out there?

I am a Spiderman fan, but I have not played any Spiderman games. I do have a game, that has Spidey in it, but it is for Xbox. It is called Capcom vs Marvel, and is a very fun game. I do not know if they make that game for Playstation 3, though.

They sure do! There is Spiderman 1,2 and 3; Spiderman-Web of Shadows and Spiderman-Shattered Dimensions-just to name a few. I know my nephews loved Spiderman 1 and 2 but I don't know much about the rest.

I never tried any Spiderman games on my console. I played one on my PC last year (I think it was Spiderman 2, and I remember that you had to defeat Rhino - which is weird villain for Spidey). Anyways, Spiderman is not my favorite superhero, so that's probably the reason for which I never purchased any games featuring him.
