I leave mine in standby mode with all options turned off, i.e USB ports, internet etc. The reason for this is that when I first purchased the PS4 back at launch I would completely turn it off but whenever I turned it back on I would get errors!. So decided for standby...... having said that I did have other PS4 errors and the white death-I took it back to our "Game" shop who after load of hassle exchanged it for a new one. So this is my 2nd PS4 but like I said I leave it on standby just in case (so does my m8 actually)
