Steering Assist?

Hi all,

I'm relatively new to driving games, so I'm not very familiar with some of the options available. In this case, "Steering Assist?"

Now I'm finding out the hard way that steering in this game is definitely NOT easy, I'm using a T80 wheel also, but my question is....what EXACTLY is toggling the "steering assist" on going to do?

That's a little unfair.
We are not a huge forum but we have a select userbase of members that post often.
If someone has'nt replied to gbm about his question then most likely they cannot help.Simple.
Would you prefer 264 replies of "Sorry,cant help"....? That would be pointless too.
People help if and when they can,you cant ask for more than that.

Wow look. Now people are replying! This guy posted a question about Steering Assist and seriously, no one knows the answer? Not after 9 months? No one knows what steering assist does? It was not even my question...

I am active on another game forum and on that one, if someone doesn't know, you have others in the forum community researching and Googling to help find the answer. For example: If someone were to ask what the capital city is of the Maldives, I also don't know off the top of my head. But I may be inclined to try to help out and research it and post the answer.

It's all good. I wasn't trying to overly slam this forum. I was just shocked that it had 264 views and it was posted 9 months ago, but zero replies. And again, I would think someone would know what one of the base settings does?? OK though.
