Strider Releasing on Feb 19th.

Capcom announced a while back that Strider will be releasing for the PS3 and PS4 on the 19 February. I played Strider when I was a still a kid. Strider is one of those games that give me this nostalgic and fond memories of the good old arcade days. Anyone of you played the original Strider before?

I played the original Strider on NES and arcade...the arcade version was far better, but I loved the game regardless. I'm stoked that there will be a revival of the series. I've been saying Capcom needs to get some of their old series out.

I am liking it so far. I am glad they added in the whole metroid-esque exploration to it. This helps increase game length and encourages you to explore. I probably can't tell differences between the PS3 or 4 versions of the game.

I love the game as well. I just got a new plasma type so I'm backtracking to open doors that were impassable before. I remember spending many hours on the Genesis version.
