Tenchu : Stealth Assassins

What a groundbreaking game. I didn't care for the sequels, but the first game absolutely blew my mind when I was younger. From jumping on rooftops, to poisoning guards and taking them out with throwing stars, this game had it all for people who were all about stealthy gameplay. Anyone else a fan?

I love the first Tenchu game. You will sneak past your enemies and stealthily kill them, from your signature stealth kills to poison darts. What I like the most is the debug feature where you can change the music to your liking, as well as access cheats for your character.

Oh man, i remember having the demo for this game, where you started out on a forest, and you could climb trees and do brutal kills to enemies, i lost so many hours playing it over and over, i should try to play the full game soon.

Yeah, I highly recommend seeking out the game and playing it from start to finish. It may not be as lengthy a stealth game as Metal Gear Solid, but it's so rewarding that it makes the experience totally worth it.

Tenchu: Stealth Assassins was the very first game that introduced me to stealth gameplay. But the beauty of it was that you could also go all out and hack and slash your way to victory. It offered so many ways on how you could defeat your opponent. Do you stealthily throw poisoned rice at your opponents? Do you shoot them with arrows at a distance? Do you prefer sneaking behind their back and slash their throats? It was amazing.
