The coffee thread

Ciel gave me the idea. So here it is. What kinds of coffee do you drink and what's your favorite coffee? How do you like your coffee?

As of right now since I just woke up, I'm drinking Folgers. The sorta best part of waking up ;) My dad gets it in bulk so I don't have a say, lol. Usually, I have my coffee with a couple spoonfuls of sugar and a splash of milk. Whole milk to be exact.

At work, we have coffee pods. I forget the brand but they aren't bad. Problem is that the machine doesn't make it strong enough for my taste. Its followed up by sugar and powdered cream since I'm too lazy to buy a quart of milk :)

I want to get more into coffee but the problem is its not like sampling beer. I can get a pint of beer and if I don't like it, I just have to suffer through that one and get another. Coffee on the otherhand, unless I go to a coffee shop, I'm stuck with the bag until I finish it.

Awesome. One of my big loves = coffee :D

Well, I drink mainly instant coffee. My favourite being Robert Timms Espresso and Nescafe Gold Dark Roast:

If we're talking coffee shops, nothing beats Oomph and their cappuccino!

And grounded coffee, favourite would be Gloria Jeans Creme Caramel:

The worst coffee I have had (even though I still drink it at work because it is that or nothing!) is Nescafe Blend (Bland) 43.

Oh Haze, such a funny statement right there. That's like saying you're a car nut and driving around in a PT Cruiser or a techie using Internet Explorer :p

Though you mentioned Gloria Jeans. In the mall I used to work at, there was a Gloria Jeans cafe. Oh the amount of money I spent there getting coffee. In a coffee shop I never get the frappachinos or the other specialty drinks they have. Give me straight up coffee. It was really good and every day, they had a new coffee of the day.

I like the Coffee pod ones too yeah, brands and exact flavours I dunno though, nothing in particular.
Have a Nespresso one at home.

As for instant coffee,I like similar one to Haze,he shows Nescafe Gold Dark Roast but I just like the Nescafe Gold Original.
I often try different brands to find the 'ultimate' instant coffee but always go back to Nescafe Gold.

Haha. Yeah well I don't have a coffee machine, otherwise I'd be buying some coffee beans and brewing!

Even tho i'm a south aussie, i'm not much into the farmers union, dare is good tho.

I've never ever liked Iced Coffee. Don't know what it is. Just never liked it. Can't stand cold coffee :p

I drink whatever K-cups I can get from work. Fancy, I know. Green Mountain Breakfast Blend seems to be my jam.

Apparently american iced coffee is just cold coffee, i dunno tho i never asked for one when i was there lol

Yup pretty much. Its nothing special. I don't get it cause one the ice starts to melt you get watered down cold coffee. Not tasty.

Gross lol it's cold milk with coffee and sugar here, if you get them in cafe's they will put ice cream/whipped cream on top.

I don't know about America but here in the UK, Starbucks sell chilled Frappuccino in supermarkets. As far as cold or chilled coffees go, this is about the best that I've come across to date.

For regular Coffee, we drink Nescafe Original at work. It's not particularly pleasant unless you're one of the first to get a spoonful from the tub. There's a distinct change and increase in bitterness in taste the further down the tub you go in my opinion…

At home we have a combination of Kenco and Douwe Egberts. The latter is more expensive but five times nicer as Nescafe Original…

My favourite coffee has to be coffee from Kenya Peaberry beans. It's so hard to find around my area though for some reason… I tend to only find it whenever I'm out and about travelling or on holiday...
