The Last of Us released in a month!

I'm hoping someone else here is as excited as I am!

It comes out June 14, and is going to be a PS3 exclusive. I've been excited about this since E3, and have watched more than my share of gameplay videos and trailers. It's an action/horror/survival game centered around Joel and Ellie, two survivors of an apocalypse caused by a fungus that killed most of the population. These two leave the military-sanctioned quarantine that the government has enforced and travel around the US with the intention of joining a resistance.

This game looks REALLY great, and I love the premise of it. There are a few new gameplay dynamics in place here that seem really interesting and unlike anything else I've played before, and I really love the team behind the game (Naughty Dog).

Thoughts? Will you be buying this on release day, waiting until the price drops a bit, or are you just not interested in playing this at all?

Been waiting for this for a while and after seeing the gameplay when it was first released (was that at last years E3?) I just thought "Yes Please!"

I feel like Naughty Dog won't let us down.

As much as I'd like to grab this day one, I hardly ever do so it might take me a couple of weeks after release to actually pick it up.

Feels like a Naughty Dog game alright. Really polished and clean, almost looks like a movie. I will be getting it when the price drops.

Saw numerous videos of this game in action on YouTube. The post apocalyptic vibe of the game is pretty awesome. The graphics are also some of the best that I have seen on the system. I hope that the gameplay would be able to match the beauty of its graphics. Regardless, I'm going to get the game.

It's been a long time since I've been this excited about a game release. Can't wait. Naughty Dog really delivered with Uncharted 3 so here's hoping they can live up to the hype again.

I am definitely buying this. It's made by Naughty Dog, the same guys who made Uncharted, and it's also PS3 exclusive. I can't wait for a zombie game based off storyline instead of the gameplay! Someone told me that spoilers were being messaged around PSN, and I hope I do not get one of those. Has anyone else seen that creepy fungus video from BBC?

I have always known Naughty Dog to be behind sheer quality, this makes me also excited for the game. I thought Uncharted was outstanding in terms of graphics and gameplay. I will definitely be buying this game, but probably not on the release day

What fungus video are you referring to, I did recently watch a strange fungus video, but I think it was actually a chemical reaction, could be the same video?

I am so excited for this title! When they showed it at E3 I already knew that I wanted to play it! The graphics look stunning and
I can't wait to see how the story plays out. It's a really interesting concept and the environments look beautiful! I really can't wait
to play it! Naughty Dog have made some amazing games so I'm sure they won't let us down.
