The Last of Us Remastered: Full list of PS4 improvements revealed

• 1080p/60 FPS in single player and multiplayer.
• Texture maps are 4x more detailed. Shadow maps 2x.
• Higher resolution particle effects.
• Occlusion mapping on decals.
• No texture streaming.
• Longer draw distances, better LOD
• Expanded Audio menu options.
• Lock frame rate at 30 frames per second.
• Swap trigger and thumbsticks controls.
• DualShock 4 with touch pad, light bar and speaker support.
• Cinematics with commentary by Neil Druckmann, Troy Baler and Ashley Johnson.

The Last of Us Remastered includes the Abandoned Territories MP and Reclaimed Territories MP add-ons as well as the Left Behind single player expansion. Additionally, it appears that all additional content will be “cross-buy” between the PS3 and PS4. Sony also revealed that we can expect more additional content to land sometime this year.

That's awesome. 60 fps is what I was hoping to see. And I really hope with this game they will do what Killzone SF did with the controller's speaker!

I just heard from an unreliable source that it got pushed back another week but I haven't heard anything? Release date is still July 29th right?

Sounds great, improvements all over the board and especially the 60 fps should look amazing.
Also great to learn that there will be more content, I wonder if it will be for both versions or just PS4 though, that would help move more PS4 copies...

Quality and much needed improvements all thoughout the console, especially with the 60fps. I agree with Strykstar about the addition of more content, its bound to make a big difference.
