The Lodestone

I have 'signed up' on the Lodestone website, and have been waiting two days for an email back to sign in as "Temporary Registration". How long does it usually take and are there issues with certain email address (like gmail, outlook etc)? I have already tried a second time with same email address.
Will this prevent me from playing the game (I don't have it yet) because presumably I'll need a square-enix account

If I am not mistaken the two are linked. Umm, try signing up here instead. I use a Gmail account and had no issues. I would try messaging customer support. You do need an active account in order to play, so yes it would indeed hinder you from playing. They are usually pretty quick to respond to "help" emails though. I assume you checked your Junk and what not?

Thanks. I tried again with my gmail account, and got email back immediately. Now I just need to wait for the game to proceed further it seems

Got the game now, played for half hour, need to increase the HUD sizes, there two small. Also deleted my character and will start again!
One thing that irritates me - The big pop-up over your character that seems to be updates, and advises you how many you have, and it counts down. The only way I have found to read/open it is my using the touch pad, and pressing down on it. That map on the top left is too damn small, I can barely see it!

No idea what you are talking about, I must have disabled it. Press square to open the map, or its something like that. At this point it is so instinctual that I could never guide someone on what to do unless I was playing the game with them. It does take some getting used to though.
