So what game disappointed you the most this year? I'm sure there are games that looked awesome in the trailers but didn't turn out like you expected. Not necessarily bad, just not what you were hopng for.

Metal Gear Rising for sure. I was so looking forward to that game but only played it for five minutes. Horrible

Really? I thought it was one of the best games all year. I thought Deadpool was disappointing. I know that superhero games tend to be bad but Highmoon Studios was making so I had faith in it.

War Z on the PC. It's actually a pretty fun game, but due to the hackers it makes it almost unplayable. I quit a few months ago and I've been waiting for the Day Z standalone

To be honest, a lot of console games over the last few years have disappointed me which is why I've been 'flirting' a lot with PC games – usually Indie titles.
For 2013, the biggest disappointment was probably 'COD : Ghosts'. I borrowed a friend's copy for a few weeks. The game itself isn't bad at all and the dog feature isn't as bad as I thought it would be. As someone who doesn't 'do' console online gaming (yet…) for a couple of reasons, I found the single player campaign surprisingly short. Without giving spoilers for those who haven't played it, I thought the ending cutscene was a poor effort too. Especially given one of your final acts in the gameplay. I felt myself saying "Oh come on…. Really…?"
I'm just getting increasingly bored of the ongoing tidal wave of FPS games we've seen in recent years. I think that genre is over saturated. I genuinely can't keep up with them any more. I struggle to tell them apart and to me at least, they all ‘mulsh’ into one, now.

I've played every COD game on day 1 release since World at War (I played COD3 and 4, but not on day 1), and I can honesty say Ghosts just hasn't appealed to me one bit. Money well saved it appears from numerous reviews.

It was released in 2011 -BUT I just played it in 2013, and that's Star Wars the old Republic

Ghosts single player sucks, the multiplayer is ok, filled with more campers than the usual cod game though. The clan system sucks major ass and it's almost impossible to spawn correctly in domination or even TDM sometimes.

Splinter Cell Blacklist Online (SP was okay)
The online mode of that game was god awful I mean you wouldn't get full lobbies, it had unbelievable lag although I will give it some credit. It was fun to play when it worked.
