the walking dead season two ending discussion.

so i recently finished up watching good old pewds play this game and i have to say i cried from the ending he picked. i cried at the end of season one when i played it two. i dont have season two YET. i just want to know what you picked or would have picked

I watch 'TheRadBrad' on YouTube when it comes to just about any Playstation title I don't have or don't have access to. I like his commentary style. Telltale Games 'The Walking Dead' is just one of them.

Firstly, may I say that it remains one of the greatest story-based adventure games I've ever had the pleasure of either playing or watching in my quarter of a century of gaming. It really is superb – and highly emotional.

He picked an interesting ending where he stuck by, lets just say, a Season One character – which to be honest is what I would have picked also. Surprisingly when it come to the stats at the end, only about 13% (or something like that) followed his path. I'm surprised the figure wasn't much higher… I've not had chance yet to see if you picked the other character to stick by or whether you left them behind for the safety of going behind those steel walls…

From the choices, I highly suspect Clementine will be the only Season One surviving cast member when it comes to Season Three (or will be shortly after the beginning, I'd imagine).

i watch him too

I'm usually pretty positive, but here we go..

This episode was goddamn boring. The last quarter was good, but I nearly fell asleep getting there. I liked my ending, and it was an overall good experience, but this whole season was a goddamn mess.

It didn't built to a conclusion, it just told a mangled story with no real underline mission or objective. Sure some of the peaks were great, but Season 1 was handled in a much better, more satisfying way. It told the continuous story of Lee and Clem's relationship, and instead gave us a story that felt like just a random chunck of Clementine's life, with almost random starting and ending points.

I still enjoyed it overall, but it doesn't hold a candle to Season 1..

you know ridge this is probably the third time i have ever fully agrred with you:p

I know I should give this game a chance and play it, but I'm just so sick and tired of all zombie, vampire, superhero related things that I just can't bring myself to even give it a try. I really hope people get as tired as I am of all this stuff and developers start focusing on a different type of game.

SPOILERS: I got the ending where I was left with Jane and am still not sure if I like it or not. I felt that Kenny's ending where you stay at Wellington is the best ending, feels like the one ending that has real closure to the season AND Kenny's arc.

I thought it was a great finale overall, though.

Clem by herself might be the worst yeah. Specially for the people that let Kenny kill Jane and THEN shot Kenny, so neither lived! But then the worst part is that there's literally no closure with that ending, you just get cut off as she walks into a horde. That's my problem with Episode 5, the only ending which provides proper closure (IMO) is the one where you stay at Wellington...

The ones where you're with Jane and let the family in (not so bad if you tell the family to fuck off) and where you're alone just feel... lacking. Like, you just wanna ask "whens Episode 6" but no, that's the finale for the season.

Season two ending in a nutshell?
THE FEELS I CANT EVEN ;-;
Honestly it's all sorts of depressing no matter which ending you choose.

I actually found the one where you stay at Crawford pretty happy. It's bittersweet because of Kenny letting it all out before you go, though, that really made me tear up... but you are now in a most likely very safe place with seemingly nice people!

Then again, TWD 400 Days also ended with the protagonists getting to a camp with seemingly nice people :|
