Thinking about getting a Vita.

With off screen play with the PS4 etc. etc. I've been thinking about getting a PSVita. Was at Gamestop today and saw a refurbished system for $179 and a Walking Dead Bundle for $199 -that boggles my tiny brain, it really, really does. I mean why buy a used system when for $20 more I can get a brand spanking new system + a game + a 4GB memory card. Sure I've been away from gaming for about 11 years but do people really fall for this?


Anyway on to my real post & questions; since I had a $100 Amazon card I ordered the Walking Dead Bundle from there. And I have two questions:

1) I am guessing the 4GB memory card won't be enough, right?
2) I use the same PSN account I use with PS3?

1) You could possibly get away with playing 1 or two games on a 4GB Memory Card, but then you'd have to delete the games to make more room, and if you delete your games you lose all your data for the games also. So I would recommend getting a bigger Memory Card even though they are somewhat expensive.

One word. Why? I guess I've always been more of a fan of Nintendo's handhelds. But I suppose I can see why you might want one. IMO, just get a tablet or a PS4 if you like Sony. It does SO much more. IMO, just get a tablet or a PS4 if you like Sony. But yes, get a bigger card and you can use the same account. A 32GB card will last you for quite a while and isn't crazy expensive.

Hey thanks for the replies. Guess I'll snag a 32GB card as soon as I can. Oh and I am getting a PS4, thats why I decided to get a Vita also, that off screen play looks pretty neat in my opinion. As for a tablet? Yeah I don't consider those things gaming devices. Both my daughters and my wife have a 3Ds so if I wanted to play Pokemon or a remade N64 game I'd borrow one of theirs

Yeah, why the hell even bring tablets up? These things are laughable as gaming devices, compared to real handhelds like the 3DS and Vita. Vita's definitely worthwhile and unlike mobile platforms, the indie games it gets are actually worth playing instead of awful microtransaction-heavy crap.

I recommend it, just don't expect to have a huge library of games at your disposal to play whenever you want. But for those few you will own, you'll likely love it.

Thanks all! I believe I over did it though, got a couple games and a 64GB memory card and kind of upset my wife Well added the fact I pre-ordered a PS4 and 8 games for it.

For my "punishment" I have to wait until Christmas to get my PS4 -I'd replace her if I could LOL

Lets see, Not counting BF4 that comes with the system, I got; Assassins Creed, Lego Marvel Super Heroes, Injustice, Knack, Madden, Fifa (And I don't even like US or European Football ) Killzone & Need For Speed.

I was literally running out of games to buy, only one I saw I didn't have was Ghosts and I have BF4, same thing. A few games I don't have yet, they're just paid off

Made someone mad, of course I pointed out she bought a car back in August because you know us guys, we know we can't win but we give it the old College try.
