This is actually a game where motion controls make sense

Now, I don't know if this will actually be a thing or not, but if you think about it, as we've seen in the gameplay trailers, the main character has many hacking shortcuts via swipe commands on his PDA. Now, given the touchpad on the PS4 controller, would it not be a cool mechanic to be able to use the same swipe commands on your controller as your device in the game? It seems like a clever an immersive usage of touch and motion controls, I'm actually now kind of hoping they actually utilize it. What do you think?

I think they may utilise it, but it's not my cup of tea so I wouldn't.

After reading this i thought it would have been an excellent idea but, like most things they claimed in watch dogs. Too good to be true.

Can't believe how underwhelming Watch Dogs ended up after all the hype. Getting the motion controls to work with those rather-passe hacking minigames would have been really awesome. I never thought of it before but this is an excellent idea. Any devs reading? I'm sure Watch Dogs 2 is in the works with all the marketing dollars and time that was spend building the "franchise"

Totally agree. I remember when Google Glass and the Kinect was first introduced, big promises, cool ideas, all went down the drain.
