Trouble turning back on

Hey everyone, so ever since the 2.0 update, I haven't been able to turn on my ps4 by simply hitting the home button on my controller. I always put my system to rest mode so I can charge my controller and headset so its never fully off. But when I come back to the system it doesn't turn on. The only way I can get it to turn back on is if I unplug the system and I know that's not good. Anyone else experiencing this?

This is a known issue with 2.0, but I think they have fixed it with a new update already. Some people have said you can hold the power button on the ps4 for a good 30-45 seconds for it to manually turn off for it to turn on normally again.

Well I either haven't gotten an update yet or it was updated and not fixed. I'll try to hold the button on the ps4
