Ubisoft talks Watchdogs inspiration

I found this to be a great article on Watchdogs. Ubisoft Montreal talks about the current climate of hacktivists and why it inspired them to make the game. They do also name some specific groups that helped them create the atmosphere including the group that gets the most attention Anonymous. I though this was a pretty great read.

It is certainly an interesting inspiration and I think that is great because it will give us an interesting product. Any time you are pulling from unique inspirations and sources of imagination you get something that will be unlike everything else that has been seen. I believe that will be great for this game and great for gamers too as we will have a unique gaming experience at our hands.
