So,what are your thoughts of another 'remaster'?
Im sure many are tired of them but Ive also read some people saying that this was needed.
Im sure if you havent played these (like me) then its well worth the purchase.
So even though Ive never played these (apart from demo's) Im not sure Ill buy it anyway.

Great for newcomers. I'm interested in replaying them but there's other games I'd rather spend my time and money.

I honestly think that this was needed due to the number of Xbox owners that never played the original 3. I might actually pick this up, I'd love to re-play the games again. Although its kind of justifying the price when I already own all three games. If you can apply for the Beta for the MP of Uncharted 4 then I might not bother getting this but I'd be tempted, to purchase this just for Beta access alone.

If all you want is the beta you will probably be able to buy beta codes online for a few $.

Yeah, you're right

What I'll probably end up doing is waiting until the price goes down so maybe a year later and pick the games up for a low price as I would like to own the series on PS4.

I've pre-ordered this game because I am desperate for the lack of new good games and also because I terribly miss Lara Croft in Tomb Raider, that is only for Xbox.

None of you guys is playing this game?

I am playing it and I find it very amusing. Surprised about how good is the graphics. The shooting parts are lethaly well done.
The multiplayer part is very well done too. If someone is interested, I'd gladly share some MP sessions since there's much to do in co-op.

Will probably swing buy BestBuy after work and pick the game up. The whole series has been pretty good and visually they are always stunning. The one thing I don't like about these games is how linear they are. In this day and age with massive open worlds you can freely explore, these games just seem a little limiting to what you can do in comparison and for replayability. Maybe it is just me, but I keep going back to games like GTA V and Assassins Creed.

Well you are posting in The Nathan Drake Collection topic :p

I got it at a midnight release and took Tuesday off work (yay vacation days!). I beat it on Friday and I have to say this game was amazing. I have to admit, I was quite nervous because the head writer left, and in my experience the final product tends to suffer. But that wasn't the case with this game. I was very satisfied with the quality I expect from Naughty Dog and felt that this was a very fitting end to Nathan Drake's story.

I didn't play the previous Uncharted games but I think this is a feature of this type of gameplay. Like Tomb Raider, there is a fixed path to follow, with some free roamimg available. I also prefer games like GTA & AC, but about this one I am really surprised.

-] True... I thought the collection included all four games, but I notice it contains only three, sorry. Feel free to split&move my messages 0:

I don't mind it to be honest. I like playing games where it's linear. I think people are getting too spoiled and used to open world games. Have a little variety people!

Why would I do that when it's more amusing to have your goof here for all to see :)

I think that is what an open world game does, gives variety. So much more you can do outside of the main story line. Now that being said, I picked up Uncharted 4 two days ago and started playing. I must say this game is amazingly well done, I am loving the story, visuals are great. This is like playing a good movie. My favourite of the Uncharted series so far, and I think it is because of the story. Love the back story with his brother, even the little things like playing crash bandicoot on an old playstation. I think I am only like 25% into the game, but it keeps up like this it will be one excellent game!
