UPDATE: Dead Island Definitive Edition coming May 31

A remastered Dead Island for current gen may be in the works.
A South African retailer has listed on it site that Dead Island Definitive Edition is heading to PS4,Xbox One and PC.
Will this actually? Who knows but with the amount of remasters out it would'nt suprise me.

I reckon it's true. Every rumoured "Definitive Edition" has come true in the past so wouldn't be surprised to see this one out.

This trend needed to stop like a year ago.

Yeah...although would you say no to Red Dead Redemption remastered in 1080P 60fps?
I never had any of the Dead Island games so it's a maybe from me.

I never bought any of the Uncharted games and I know there Nathan Drake Collection coming. Hmm...

The only exception is indeed if there were a Red Dead Redemption remaster. But I really hope they work on a sequel instead.

Looks like its due May 31.
Will also be a little cheaper than regular full price games being a remaster.

Some details below:

Deep Silver is promising higher quality textures, a "photorealistic" lighting system, physically based shading, image quality enhancements by way of anti-aliasing, improved game models and geometry assets, HBAO and other motion blur effects, and updated game UI. Additionally, the PS4 version makes uses of Remote Play and shareplay, as well as streaming and recording. All versions also have four-player online co-op.

Latest news is that the PS4 version will only include the original game on the disc while Dead Island Riptide will be a downloadable.
Odd considering the Xbox One version has both games on the disc.

The Definitive Collection also includes a 3rd game,Dead Island:Retro Revenge.

As someone who really enjoyed these games I'm looking forward to getting the remastered version. I know they are out now but I haven't been able to pick up a copy yet Still really excited to bash some zombies!
